Celebrate!!

Valentine's Day:
We talked about love and friendship and prepared for Valentine's Day.
We created art for our classroom. The border, pictures and butterflies are all made by hand. The children did a fantastic job!

Our gift to our parents were these gorgeous "LOVE" canvas paintings.

I was not here for Valentine's Day but one of the students brought special treat.

We wrote about what we love.

Chinese New Year:
Ms. Lisa came to our class and taught the children about Chinese New Year and how to say hello, happy new year and thank you. She gave the students red lucky envelopes that had lucky candy.
We made:
Posters

Chinese Lanterns

Drums

Dragon Masks

The children brought in 100 day projects.

We had a fun photo booth. I got the props from chelawilliams at etsy
